SOCIEDAD PORTUARIA RIVERPORT S.A., is a private port facility with a 30-year concession from the Colombian government since May 2006. We specialize in the attention of international transit bulk carriers, with an average of 30,000 gross registered tons (GRT). We carry out unloading and loading operations of solid bulks such as coal and coke, facilitating Colombian foreign trade.
Our experience in handling solid bulks and receiving international vessels at our facilities has brought significant value to port activity in Barranquilla. Since March 2014, we have been carrying out clean solid bulk unloading operations and, as of February 2016, we have begun loading coal on motor vessels of up to 215 meters in length.
